Turbulence marked the Regency Period in England. The monarchy fought the peoples of the Peninsula and amongst themselves, dividing father and son with the ascension of King George IV . The church wrestled with heresy as the common worshiper warred with new methods of praise and worship and complying with strict religious dogma. Humanity struggled with the resentment of the classes, the rise of new industries and the decline of tried and true trades. People battled with addiction, all manner of vice and the need to discover their better angels. The heart of man bled for the right to love and live in spite of familial and societal expectations.
